GERRY LOPEZ 8'10" SUP QUAD

A sneak peek at the new Gerry Lopez 8'10" quad. This board is 28 1/2 wide and will float even the big guys. Don't hold your breath because this board wont be available for at least 3 months. It's super cool to have Lopez as a hard core SUP guy. It's good for the sport. OUT.

What is the construction of Gerry's board? Core foam density? Glassing layup?

More durable than my Chinese built PSH I hope? It was built with 1.5 lb EPS and 2 layers of glass. I think 5 oz.

Board looks hot, but would want reasonable durability, more in line with other hand glassed SUPs on the market.

Like my friend Wardog always says "It's paralysis by dialysis". All the boards are EPS foam and hand glassed epoxy. These SUP boards and all other SUP boards will last depending on how the owner takes care of them. I have been involved in this sport for about 3 years now and have seen and surfed most all SUP boards on the market. If I can get a year out of my SUP board Im stoked. I surf and paddle hours each day
and I have NEVER had a board break or fall apart. OUT.
