If so, that's what I'm using and haven't notice any difference how the blade goes through the water....Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09913714745509096800noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2676715791816603315.post-56141449349142399802008-11-06T15:41:00.000-08:002008-11-06T15:41:00.000-08:00John-Cover your blade!! Sorry to hear about your paddle wound! I d...DUDE!!!

Sorry to hear about your paddle wound! I did a post about taking off my blade edging and how I like it better. But in the next sentence I also said that the edge could just slice you and it'd suck for that to happen if you were traveling.

I am definitely going to recover my blades now- that's something I never want to see happen to me or anybody. Get better soon.

Until then, you can sit on the beach and shoot vid and stills of some SB SUP action for us!John Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07084007903603599065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2676715791816603315.post-35990204512519825722008-11-06T06:56:00.000-08:002008-11-06T06:56:00.000-08:00ef-I used to use the auto door liner for the paddl...ef-I used to use the auto door liner for the paddle blade. Its nice and light and works great. Its just a thin hard rubber strip that fits right on the blade edge. Im going to buy a roll of the stuff and put it back on all my paddle blades. If you are thinking about doing this with your paddles go that route. The heavy black rubber type tape that I think is made by Scotch is junk. You don't want to use that stuff. Its heavy, looks like crap and really changes how the blade cuts through the water.Jim Brewerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06000046254094107661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2676715791816603315.post-6301434620876911182008-11-06T06:41:00.000-08:002008-11-06T06:41:00.000-08:00This comment has been removed by the author.Jim Brewerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06000046254094107661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2676715791816603315.post-69787921302703258322008-11-06T03:52:00.000-08:002008-11-06T03:52:00.000-08:00ouch, sorry to hear about your leg. now what i wa...ouch, sorry to hear about your leg. now what i want to know is, did that paddle have edging on it? i kinda doubt it. are you now going to put edging on that paddle? just curious!
btw/ bone? i think if i'd seen that in the lineup, i'd of passed out and probably drowned. good for you, keeping your wits about you!
erik
www.howtostanduppaddlesurf.comefhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04201160218529702210noreply@blogger.com
